Behavioral Therapist Jobs

Therapist :

• Conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress.
• Contributes to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Adheres to all current federal & state laws, as well as Greyson’s Counseling Policies and Procedures, including the safeguarding of confidential healthcare information and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA)
• Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders.
• Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.
• Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients.
• Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.
• Maintains all training requirements for licensure
• Refers patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
• Meets with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Reports immediately any suspected incidents of child abuse or neglect to the Treatment Director and the Child Abuse Hotline
• Involves and advises family members when appropriate.
• Maintains thorough EHR of patient meetings and progress.
• Completes other duties as directed by the Clinical Director
• Adheres to the requirements and regulations as set forth by the Texas Department of State Health Services and Texas State Board of Examiners based on clinical licensure

This is a 1099 position with flexible hours.

Education:

• Master's (Required)

License/Certification:

• Licensure (Examples: LCSW, LPC) (Required)

Salary: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
