Maine Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking candidates for a variety of Behavioral Tech, Ed Tech, and Psych Techopportunities with our Behavioral Health teams! These positions offer work at the MBH Center of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders in Portland, as well as Spring Harbor Hospital in Westbrook.

Position Summaries:

Behavioral Technician
The Behavioral Tech contributes to the achievement of quality care and patient outcomes by maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu. To accomplish this goal, the Behavioral Tech provides care and emotional support to patients as assigned. The Behavioral Tech may also assist in the collection and documentation of data and in cooperation with the treatment team members, implements individualized treatment plans.

Educational Technician
The Ed Tech supports the achievement of academic, behavioral, and functional skills by individualized instruction and behavioral support to achieve communication, play, socialization, self-care, cognitive, behavior and motor goals of students in accordance with each child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP), utilizing the tools of applied behavior analysis (ABA).

Psychiatric Technician
The Psych Tech contributes to the achievement of quality care and patient outcomes by maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu. To accomplish this goal, the Psych Tech provides care and emotional support to patients as assigned. The Psych Tech may also assist with the collection and documentation of data and in cooperation with the treatment team members, implements individualized treatment plans.
