Behavioral Services Coordinator/Bcba (2023/24 School Year)

BEHAVIORAL SERVICES COORDINATOR As a member of a three-person, multidisciplinary managerial team, the Behavioral Services Coordinator is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of behavioral interventions and supports in one of Manvilles four schools. This individual must be fluent in verbal de-escalation techniques, physical management protocols, and social coaching for students with a variety of learning needs and diagnoses. Specific responsibilities include: the supervision and coaching of Classroom Behavior Specialists; facilitation of de-escalation techniques for students demonstrating behavioral and/or clinical dysregulation; maintenance of proper reporting and notification procedures to caregivers and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education; individual and group supervision; and a commitment to the development of a culture of diversity and inclusivity. Along with an Educational Supervisor and Clinical Coordinator, this individual will have primary responsibility for the daily experience of a cohort of twenty to thirty-five students.
Additionally, the Behavioral Services Coordinator serves as a member of Manville Schools managerial team and participates in systems-level planning and innovation. Manville provides services for up to 115 students from over 50 school districts in the greater Boston area, and has approximately 100 educational, clinical, and behavioral staff members.
