Grandview Medical Center is hiring a strong Registered Nurse for our Behavioral Health team! The ideal Behavioral Health RN will have a wide degree of creativity and latitude in order to provide nursing care for psychiatric patients in varying levels of acuity.

• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, concurrently performing a variety of tasks
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Requires an associate's degree and an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the psychiatric/behavioral health field.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
