Behavioral Health Educator Jobs

Responsible for development and oversight of a premier behavioral health and educational and training program at St. Luke's University Health Network (SLUHN). The person in this position will ensure that behavioral health training programs are available to all staff at SLUHN, and provide continuing education credits for social workers, marriage and family therapists, and professional counselors. The educator will develop a training schedule that enhances timely knowledge and skill-building for behavioral health staff. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate Incoming Interns

• Develop annual training plan to ensure educational priorities of service line are met, in consultation with Network Director of Clinical Therapy Services and the Staff Development Committee.

• Data management, including program statistics and reporting as requested. REQUIRED EDUCATION:
• Maintain Pennsylvania Certification Board approval to provide CEU's.
• Provide oversight of annual education training and professional development for St. Luke's Behavioral Health ambulatory service line.
• Ensure dissemination of CEU certificates to program attendees within state regulatory guidelines.
• Act as point person for all level intern candidates, facilitate placement requirements, and collaborate with manager or Practice Administrator to onboard interns across departments.
• Manage planning, facilitation, and documentation needs of all training, whether in-person or virtual, including marketing, registrations, evaluations, and certificates.
• Provide a minimum of 18 hours of continuing education credits per year for licensed clinicians either through My E Learning site or through live or video-live presentations.
• Chair the Staff Development Committee, comprised of representatives from various programs/disciplines, as part of the strategic goal to support staff development.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills.
• Liaise with Network Volunteer Services and Student Relations Department to obtain affiliation agreements and meet appropriate requirements. Education & Training
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist required.
• Maintain State licensure board requirements as a CE provider, including licensing renewal, and ensuring education programs meet standards and regulations established by the State Board of Social workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors.
• Establish and maintain Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (PRA) approval to provide CEU's.
• Conduct an annual survey of training needs and interests of behavioral health employees.
• Maintain relationship with My E Learning IT team to coordinate the downloading and CEU process for trainings online through St. Luke's.
• Collaborate with other Network departments offering training or conferences for which CEU's or CME's will be provided.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Master's degree in the behavioral health or education field and, at least five (5) years of teaching or clinical practice experience in mental health, drug and alcohol, and/or co-occurring disorders field. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
