Job Summary:

• Work closely with Carroll Community School District Administration, state agency consultants, staff, and parents to provide a warm and welcoming professional environment.

• Work with principal or designee to develop and update employee and student handbooks annually making adjustments as needed.

• Serve as an example by communicating respectfully, maintaining confidentiality, and exhibiting a professional demeanor at all times.

• Assist principal or designee in advertising, interviewing, hiring, and supporting new staff members.

• Improve employee performance through observation, collaboration, evaluation, and quality professional development.

• Maintain a positive working relationship with employees through calm and open communication.

• Meet with parents and children prior to enrollment to discuss completion of enrollment paperwork, provide tours, and discuss parent handbook. Inform parents of policies and requirements including immunizations, billing, and scheduling.

• Interact in a positive and professional way with all parents to address questions or concerns. Provide opportunities for parents to evaluate the CCSD Before and after School program.

• Use progressive thinking to ensure the program’s future.

• Ensure that center is in compliance with all state regulations.

• Work with principal or designee to prepare a budget based on program needs.

• Promote the Carroll Community School District’s Before and After School Program through social media and community resources.

Implement and maintain all Carroll CSD policies.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Meets Iowa Department of Human Services Child Care Center Licensing Requirements
