Job Description

Our client, one of the leading digital payments and fintech companies in the United States, is looking to hire a Banking Operations Specialist remotely! As a Banking Operations Specialist you will be a member of the Financial Services Team providing white glove customer experiences to the Seller Community to safely administer funds to grow their businesses and prevent loss for the organization. This role is a KPI/metric driven position resolving issues for inbound/outbound queued sellers within Salesforce CRM. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in a bilingual (Spanish & English) customer experience role with a financial institution or payment provider. Strong candidates will have exposure to BSA/AML regulation and best practices.


*This position is a 7-month remote W-2 contract position to start, that could extend – is 100% remote but MUST LIVE 50 MILES FROM OAKLAND, CA


Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for responding to inquiries via CRM tools via phone and email
  • Participate in ongoing training to maintain current knowledge of BSA/AML and perform BSA/AML responsibilities as needed within the role
  • Complete daily cases through utilization of a standard operating procedure, and identify/analyze trends to suggest improvements for the program
  • Answer customer questions regarding business documents or current loan information


Qualifications:

  • Experience in direct customer facing roles
  • Professional experience working within a financial institution, payment service provider, or experience in a direct customer-facing environment
  • Flexibility to adapt and desire to collaborate with others on multiple assignments
  • Proficiency with technical tools, such as Google and Microsoft Suite, Slack, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus
