ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capable of cleaning up the bakery, washing dishes, and ensure its in good working order before bakers come in the next working day.
• Ability to recognize the quality of and distinguish between the many different bakery products.
• Price and code date all bakery products clearly and accurately.
• Possess knowledge of bakery items, descriptions, and ingredients so as to better serve our guests and answer any questions that might arise.
• Maintain attractive and appealing cases and displays for increased sales.
• Receive special orders properly and uses suggestive selling methods when possible.
• Capable of pricing, dating, and wrapping or bagging of all bakery products in accordance with the department and stores policies.
• Morning Shift, evening shifts, full time and part time available
• Capable of filling, arranging, rotating, and merchandising displays and display cases within the Bakery Department.

Please note: weekend shifts are required (Sundays as applicable)

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with the possibility of frequent exposure to hot or cold conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand, and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. Also requires standing, walking and bending throughout the entire workday and the ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location.
