As Baker, you'll prepare pastries and breads, doughs, sponges, cookie doughs, brownies, and more.

Additionally, you'll:

• Produce wedding and other specialty cakes when requested.
• Maintain production records.
• Create centerpieces in a timely manner, utilizing baked goods.
• Demonstrates appropriate time management and organizational skills.
• Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain and clean pastry equipment.
• Maintain pastry shop in a clean and organized manner following proper sanitation guidelines and train staff to do likewise.
• Provide approved recipes to staff.

• Understand written instructions/diagrams, and scales and measuring equipment.
• Work overtime when necessary.
• Plate desserts as needed by other departments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Pass a written and practical exam.
• Minimum three years of hands-on pastry shop experience in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.
• Identify incorrect products and adjust recipes or utilize other products.
