We’re looking for someone like you to work with our clients and meet their mission by deploying a data lake for Veteran's Affairs (VA).

This is an opportunity to implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. Supporting the VA's Veterans Experience, you’ll have the chance to design, configure, and run raw data ingestions into parquet file formats in an Azure Data and Delta Lake as well as utilize Microsoft Synapse, Databricks, and other ETL tools to process those parquet files. From sharing your skills in analytical exploration and examination of data, to supporting the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms, you’ll work with our clients to solve their most pressing challenges. You Have:

• Knowledge of Jira
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Ability to self-organize as part of a mid-size Scrum team and apply data engineering expertise
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Athena, parquet files, Microsoft Synapse, or Databricks

Nice If You Have:

• Knowledge of Confluence
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Oracle and Oracle Golden Gate
• Certified Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
