Bell is seeking a Avionics Technician Entry Level to support our Repair and Overhaul Center (ROC) at our Piney Flats, TN facility.

• Other duties as assigned
• Fabrication of custom sheet metal items
• Installing wires and building wiring harnesses
• Testing and maintaining electrical systems
• Installing avionics kits
• Avionics repair and system installation

This position may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift depending on schedule requirements and commitments.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Additional training in electrical installations or wiring may be a plus

Skills / Certifications:

• Must work as a team member to ensure quality and timely completion of aircraft to meet schedule
• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
• Ability to purchase own tools required for the jobs assigned
• Familiarity with wiring schematics and electrical principles
• Ability to read and understand installation instructions, maintenance manuals and blueprints

Preferred:

• Previous experience in aviation electronics / related field, or similar work experience.
• Sheetmetal knowledge a plus.
• Ability to fabricate wiring harnesses a plus

Physical requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces as required.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
