Bell is seeking a Avionics Technician Entry Level to support our Repair and Overhaul Center (ROC) at our Piney Flats, TN facility.
- Other duties as assigned
- Fabrication of custom sheet metal items
- Installing wires and building wiring harnesses
- Testing and maintaining electrical systems
- Installing avionics kits
- Avionics repair and system installation
This position may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift depending on schedule requirements and commitments.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Additional training in electrical installations or wiring may be a plus
Skills / Certifications:
- Must work as a team member to ensure quality and timely completion of aircraft to meet schedule
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Ability to purchase own tools required for the jobs assigned
- Familiarity with wiring schematics and electrical principles
- Ability to read and understand installation instructions, maintenance manuals and blueprints
Preferred:
- Previous experience in aviation electronics / related field, or similar work experience.
- Sheetmetal knowledge a plus.
- Ability to fabricate wiring harnesses a plus
Physical requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces as required.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
