Venice Toyota is looking for an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service team! We are looking for a motivated individual who is interested in a full-time career. Responsibilities - Service Advisor:

• Build strong relationships with customers to build a fresh referral base
• Other duties may be assigned
• Prepare report orders showing time, cost and labor estimates for service
• Help to identify a mechanical problem by questioning the customer or doing a visual inspection or road test
• Confer with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work orders for needed repairs
• Explain the work performed and the charges to the customer
• Greet customers and assist them with any inquiries
• Write brief descriptions of the customer’s concerns on the repair order to help technicians locate the source of the problem.
• Provide support to other team members
• Advise customers about necessary service for routine maintenance

Requirements - Service Advisor:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Strong computer and phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CRM Systems)

• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of CDK, ADP, or Reynolds and Reynolds is not required but a plus
• A minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent
