Berlin City Auto Group is actively hiring a Parts Counter-Advisor to join our growing dealership team in Portland, Maine!

General Summary:


The Parts Counter Associate sells parts to customers over the counter or on the phone and ensures that every customer understands parts delivery ETAs and associated charges. The Parts Counter Associate will accurately transact retail and wholesale parts sales and ensure customer inquiries get addressed promptly. The Parts Counter Associate gives every customer a positive impression regarding their overall parts experience at the dealership.

Essential Functions:


  • Assist Service Technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in the process
  • Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
  • If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit a particular order if requested by the customer
  • Pull purchased parts from stock
  • Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the entire product line
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up


Requirements:


  • Possess a valid driver's license and favorable motor vehicle record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Authorized to work in the United States
