Position Summary
Yach’s Body & Custom, Inc. is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide excellent repair quality to customer vehicles by adhering to industry best practices, continued training, and maintaining Yach’s reputation for quality work.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Auto Body Technician will perform repair work to customer vehicles to return them to pre-loss condition and accurately follow Yach’s work order, along with diagnosing and reporting any additional damage not on the work order. This individual will ensure excellent repairs by following O.E.M. specifications.

$50,000-$85,000; top performers can earn $100K plus

Performance Objectives
30-Day Performance Objectives:

• Demonstrate understanding of Yach’s vehicle repair process and O.E.M specifications.
• Meet production goals set by management.

90-Day Performance Objectives:

• Meet individual performance goals and successfully complete a 90-day performance review.
• Determine path in structural or non-structural repair designation for industry I-CAR training.

365-Day Performance Objectives:

• Meet goals and complete a one-year performance review with peer feedback.
• Complete I-CAR certification (if not already certified).

$50,000-$85,000

• Metal straightening
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles
• Frame measurement and repairs
• Welded and bolt on panel replacement
• Plastic repair welding
• Aluminum repairs

• Meeting and believing in Yach’s mission and core values
• Familiarity with I-CAR training and/or certifications from similar organizations (I-CAR Platinum certification preferred)
• Possesses a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to do what it takes to achieve production goals
• Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
• 5+ years of collision repair experience
• Ability to demonstrate and properly complete light to heavy repairs (bodywork, welding, structural work preferred)
• Experience completing repairs by following O.E.M. specifications
• Auto body painting experience is a plus
• Ability to work as an individual and as a team
