As Audience Targeting Manager, you will play a critical role in driving growth for the Premium subscription business. You’ll influence multiple steps of the LinkedIn Premium member lifecycle through marketing channel touchpoints. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a consistent customer journey, and set up complex experiments to measure causal impact to key business metrics. You are detail oriented, and have demonstrated experience navigating ambiguity, driving clarity, and influencing strategy.


Responsibilities:


  • Execute audience targeting logic for acquisition and lifecycle campaigns using SQL, Spark and LinkedIn native tools and technologies
  • Author and maintain logic for audience targeting variables and automate ETL pipelines in various languages such as SQLand Spark.
  • Set up A/B tests to measure incremental impact of marketing programs
  • Improve campaign KPIs by collaborating on and applying targeting optimization techniques
  • Partner with growth marketing, engineering, analytics, and data science teams to achieve and surpass business goals. Contribute to marketing’s growth strategy and quarterly prioritization decisions.
  • Design system-first processes to scale and automate targeting and A/B experimentation, including defining and leading implementation of enhancements to our internal marketing targeting stack.  


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:


  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL
  • 3+ years of experience targeting audiences for marketing use cases, both ad-hoc and automated; including data integration with CRM or marketing automation platforms 


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with Statistical analysis, Reporting (eg: Tableau) and Machine learning models is a plus
  • Fluency in various database languages such as SQL, Spark and Python
  • Growth mindset, curious, self-aware, and passionate about continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to break down and diagnose issues, then identify and rapidly deploy solutions
  • Great collaboration skills to connect and problem solve with a wide set of cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, design, and data science teams
  • Strong attention to detail, and project management skills to focus on key outcomes amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Experience with Basic command of Unix commands / shell scripting
  • Excellent communications skills; able to distill complex concepts into clear and concise language for senior-level management and various stakeholders
  • Experience with Presto
  • Proven aptitude for assimilating new technologies and processes

The pay range for this role is $93,000 to $145,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
