WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE

This position will manage all production projects relating to assigned campaigns or promotions by partnering with internal and external partners to support the business priorities. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager & other cross-functional teammates within the Marketing Department to ensure smooth and continuous workflow of production processes and on-time delivery of all projects. Projects supported may include: Direct Mail, Email, Display, Social (Organic, Paid & Vendor Funded), Brand and Community Marketing local and national activations.

  • Ensure strategies are approved before commencement of work to provide a seamless transition for strategy to execution.
  • Provide a critical leadership role in ensuring the successful development and execution of projects across various marketing channels.
  • Operational:

    • Create and maintain project for all marketing collateral from campaign approval through release.
    • Ensure strategies are approved before commencement of work to provide a seamless transition for strategy to execution.
    • Develop and maintain project scheduling, reporting, and tracking documentation and communicate schedule changes as they arise.
    • Identifies activities in project plan that are at risk and implements mitigation measures.
    • Work closely with the Project Manager regarding deadline extensions and/or change in scope of project and provides project alternatives and scenarios.
    • Ensure stakeholder feedback is actioned on a timely basis.

    • Ensure all steps are completed and project assets are being updated accordingly.

  • Actively monitor project status and proactively communicate and address any challenges that put a project at risk.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experience in marketing/advertising projects in a retail environment preferred. Account, production management or agency experienced a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experienced preferred
  • Knowledge of project management software & the ability to create, maintain and manage project schedules
  • Assertive: Ensures process and principles are adhered to, must be able to hold people accountable.
  • Detail oriented: Excellent organization skills, and an outstanding ability to ensure delivery of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment on time
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Enthusiastic, high energy & people oriented.
  • Critical thinker: Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to make timely/sound decisions and implement agreed upon solutions.
  • High level of ability and comfort level to interact and effectively communicate with all levels of personnel
