- Work in tandem with other interrelated departments to understand and support product availability, warehouse obstacles and support, launch programs, and finance related needs.
- Responsible for ensuring full compliance with all export documentation.
- Cost comparison to ensure adequate service levels and pricing through Dermalogica in house selected forwarders are met to minimize transportation charges when needing to absorb.
- Suggest and supports process improvement activities.
- Make the logistical arrangements with freight forwarders for shipments of order per the Distributor’s Shipping, Packing, Instruction Notes (SPIN).
- Consider using technology to improve processes that will result in increased International Team productivity.
- Ability to analyze and suggest outcomes towards customer claims and credit related requests.
- Manage and prioritize assigned day-to-day tasks.
- Ensure all International orders are managed through the distribution / subsidiary center to dispatch.
- Ensuring direct reports are properly trained and executing accordingly to the set SOP’s.
- Closely coordinate with Global Operations Team to maximize company sales and maximize International Distributor and Subsidiary support.
- Support Global Operations Team to help resolve all supply-chain queries arising from Distributor and Subsidiary markets with the support of Management.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and timely per the customer’s requirements.
- Understand operating system to the level of using all tools available to execute and resolve any potential issues or needs.
- Maintain and ensure healthy levels of customer services are met with all Distributor and Subsidiary accounts.
- Comply with company controls that are in place to provide accountability and optimize profitability.
- Develop and adjust SOP’s geared to our operations / customers’ needs accordingly as needed.
- Understand and comply with all regulatory agencies under Dangerous Goods International export under all modes of transport.
- Receivable Management: Ensure Distributor accounts always operate within their credit terms and limits.
- Monitors, evaluates, and oversees direct reports to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and productivity are met accordingly to departmental needs.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Well-versed in all aspects of operations including systems, planning, forecasting, order fulfillment, inventory planning, and Letters of Credit preferred.
- 5+ years of operations experience required, working with a variety of EPR and CRM systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Consumer products, e-commerce, wholesale, and start-up experience highly preferred
- Excited to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, high-energy, and team-oriented environment.
- Experience of identifying and implementing novel and creative technology-based solutions to existing operational issues.
- Your approach will be results-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to build productive relationships with peers.

- Able to demonstrate the ability to fail fast and iterate quickly.
- DG certified a plus.
- Outstanding organization skills and time planning abilities.
- Ability to take full ownership, multi-task, and drive projects with a high level of independence and resourcefulness.
- Knowledge of or prior use of JDE operating system a plus.
