The Role


As an essential member of the Global marketing team, the Associate Marketing Manager will be responsible for understanding our brand, the loyalty program, and the value it provides. You have a growth mindset and love new opportunities that will support our growing and globally recognized hospitality company. This role will be expected to develop and execute integrated marketing plans and communications to support global initiatives that drive awareness and preference for World of Hyatt, membership growth, incremental stay activity, and member engagement. This includes writing agency briefs and initiating assignments with cross-functional teams, managing internal and external resources to develop, execute and translate communications for a variety of marketing channels including email, website, in-hotel, social, digital, app, and more. Do you have strong project management skills with a consumer-first mindset and a strong creative marketing background? Can you balance several cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment?


This highly collaborative Associate Marketing Manager will also need to manage various levels of agency, vendor, and internal (loyalty, brand, corporate communications, regional marketing, legal, social, and sales) relationships and deliverables to successfully accomplish the goals of the role. This position will report to the Director, Global Marketing & Loyalty.


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


  • Develop and implement marketing communications to support the acquisition and integration of new brands and business lines that meet stakeholders’ goals and objectives
  • Understand operational needs of marketing programs to effectively execute campaigns and troubleshoot problems; understand and leverage data to assist in analyzing communication effectiveness
  • Build and manage relationships with internal teams including data and analytics, email operations, digital, localization, brands, social, communications, etc. to effectively support project execution
  • Understand the World of Hyatt brand and loyalty program and competitive landscape
  • Execution of integrated marketing plans (i.e., announcements, program communications, promotions, etc.) including cross-functional collaboration and agency management


Qualifications


Experience Required:


  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and meet timely deadlines
  • Must have a detailed experience with and understanding of marketing tactics (promotions, incentives, etc.) and channels (email, digital, social, etc.)
  • Proactively incorporating new ideas
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator – especially cross-functionally.Able to manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders at various levels
  • Proven success leading go-to-market campaigns from strategy to execution; noteworthy if inclusive of B2C, hospitality, or travel categories
  • Innovative and forward-thinking, keeping up with the latest marketing, digital/social media, and hospitality/travel industry trends
  • Self-motivated, results-driven
  • 3-5+ years of integrated marketing experience


Experience Preferred:


  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Advertising or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 products – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
