What you will do -

As Associate Manager, Distribution you will provide daily functional leadership and direction to the distribution team to ensure achievement of business goals and objectives through consistent coordination of quality on-time deliveries that are cost effective and provide a positive customer experience.


Additional responsibilities:

  • Support new business opportunities.
  • Be responsible for the performance of the Distribution Unit.
  • Plan and administer procedures and budgets for unit.
  • Manage one or more Distribution Area Supervisors.
  • Be responsible for compliance to the Stryker Quality System and Stryker Financial rules regarding inventory and revenue recognition management.
  • Be responsible for the selection, supervision, development, engagement and objective achievement for the distribution team consisting of clerical/technical and production staff.
  • Be responsible for setting and achieving inventory management, quality, cost and delivery service objectives.
  • Identify and execute strategic initiatives to ensure ability to meet future growth.
  • Update and maintain compliance to quality system procedures regarding Distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and procedures (Stryker Quality System, FDA, FAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Work cross functionally with the customer service, sales, finance, quality, human resources, IT and operations team to achieve Stryker mission, vision and objectives.

What you need -

  • Medical device/regulated industry experience - preferred
  • 6+ years of operational management experience required
  • Proven track record of process improvement using Lean principles required
  • Bachelor Degrees - highly preferred in lieu of degree we will consider equivalent experience
  • Experience working with MS Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint or similar required
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams required
