Job Description

Investment Banking Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

Dinan Capital Advisors (DCA), a middle-market boutique investment bank, seeks to hire an investment banking Associate.DCAoffers the opportunity to gain extensive experience across multiple industries and transaction types including mergers & acquisitions, financings, restructuring and valuations.Associates work on small deal teams and interface directly with senior-level bankers. Responsibilities include:

  • Data room management
  • Industry research
  • Confidential Information Memorandum preparation
  • Perform financial analyses on client companies, including comparable transaction and public company analysis
  • Research and develop potential buyer, investor, and other target lists
  • Manage transaction logistics, including: Update web-based deal and contact management systems, develop weekly client status reports, presentation binding, etc.
  • Preparing presentations for new business development
  • Management presentations
  • Extensive financial modeling

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong accounting and financial statement analysis skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements in a fast paced, dynamicenvironment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Series 79 and 63 licenses preferred
  • Familiarity with Capital IQ and Salesforce preferred

Associate:

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical discipline preferred)
  • Minimum of two years investment banking, public accounting, or other deep financial modeling experience or an MBA with a finance concentration
