Job Summary:
As The Children’s Place Associate Graphic Design Manager, you are part of a strategic team of big thinkers and creative who work interdependently. The Associate Graphic Design Manager will support the Graphic Design Manager and Brand Director in ideation, development, and execution of all social media content.
This position will collaborate with peers and leadership in creative and copy to align social media stories with seasonal campaign concepts, and with marketing partners to align to editorial calendar and business objectives.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Develop stories that promote seasonal apparel designs, trends and color themes and align to editorial calendar.
  • Responsible for understanding the strategy, updating creative brief documentation and support executional alignment, while collaborating with cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with key internal partners and channel leads (Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, Performance Marketing) to ensure on-strategy execution across all content storytelling.
  • Conduct research & curate best-in-class social media swipe for inspiration & to drive development of new ideas.
  • Partner closely with Creative + Marketing Ops to manage timelines of upcoming projects; sets deadlines, assigns responsibility, and monitors for completion.
  • Establish efficient and collaborative working relationships with key internal partners (Creative, Brand Marketing, Marketing/Creative Ops, Ecommerce, Performance Marketing, Merchandising).
  • Design and execute still, motion, and directed content for social media.
  • Collaborate with partners in Creative, Copy and Marketing to create compelling social media concepts that promote creative, marketing and channel objectives.
  • Maintains expert level knowledge in current and emerging social media channels, including creative trends and technical applications such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, and Spark AR.
  • Supports Graphic Design Manager and Creative Director to align with brand standards, drive creative excellence and meet production milestones. Provide meaningful, clear direction and feedback to peers and support staff to achieve creative & marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with Creative Director and Stylists to define art direction and execute social media photography.
  • Develop and maintain social media style-guides with clearly defined creative direction and strategies for various post types across all social platforms and align to social media best-practices.
  • Creates social media campaign presentation boards and presents to senior leadership, effectively communicating creative strategy.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Graphic Design, BFA preferred.
5+ years of creative experience in editorial, content marketing and/or communications
Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and After Effects
Proficiency in Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe XD and Figma
Skills and Behaviors
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Experience with photography teams a bonus
Demonstrated leadership skills
Ability to positively influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization.
