Job Summary

The Product Development Analyst will facilitate project estimations and inquiries for custom client orders related to the Product Development department.

• Functions include project management, cost estimate analysis, reporting, and creating presentations. Aspects of these functions relate to operational and technical system processes, product coordination, and communication with cross-functional departments. Documenting product specifications – ex: counting and measuring stones from design files

Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Project Management:

• Communication with cross-functional departments to obtain and submit project estimates
• Organizing approved designs and project information
• Maintaining up to date information in project tracking files
• Creation of new Item Cards in company-wide inventory management system
• Crating Estimate Presentations and ad-hoc reports
• Compiling data: product specifications/costs/certificates from current stock and historical projects
• Documenting product specifications – ex: counting and measuring stones from design files
• Coordinating copyright process of completed items
• Answering client requests / inquiries and providing estimates for custom orders

Job Qualifications

• Ability to function effectively in a team environment and communicate with management
• 2+ years prior Product Development and/or experience with fine jewelry or luxury branded product
• Self-motivated and detail oriented, with a strong drive for organization
• Excellent Project Management skills that entail preparing and working through the detailed steps associated with developing products with cross-functional team members to achieve both short and long term objectives
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; basic skills test will be required for candidates
