In this role, you will lead the Area Visual Merchandising team to execute the corporate seasonal strategy in stores to the highest visual standards through strong communication, leadership, and feedback. You will partner closely with the corporate viual team to understand the strategy and with your field team to implement the plan, train and develop visual associates, and maximize sales in stores from a visual perspective.

A day in the life as an Associate Director, Visual Merchandisng- Field...
  • Review and approve floorplans from AVM’s to ensure the flow and adjacencies are optimal before physical set up begins
  • Participate in all corporate floorsets and lead the visual execution of all new store openings and store refreshes
  • Hold store leaders accountable to visual budgets and fixture replenishment, repairs, and maintenance
  • Lead the successful execution of seasonal floorsets across the fleet that follows corporate directives, drives sales, and represents visual strategy. Oversee all activities affecting store product presentation and displays to ensure merchandising is consistent with the company vision
  • Ensure flagship locations are executed to the highest level with additional curated touches
  • Manage tests of new concepts, merchandising initiatives, fixtures and visual elements and provide feedback to corporate partners
  • Own the visual standards manual, visual training tools, and collaborate with field leadership on visual team coaching, training and development
  • Organize and own a clear feedback review process between field and corporate team
  • Collaborate with Area Managers to train, coach, and manage field visual associates

What you'll bring to the table...
  • Knowledge of stock availability and how it impacts optimum use of product to increase sales in stores
  • Ability to organize the visual merchandising aspect of regional store expansions, renovations and physical upkeep of stores in coordination with the store leadership
  • Strong ability to train, coach, manage, and hold associates on direct team and store teams accountable
  • Awareness of all intranet communications, current advertising, promotions and other marketing initiatives, and the appropriate way to communicate all pertinent information to store associates
  • Ability to oversee management of design expenses, budgets, fixture replenishment, repairs, and maintenance
  • Clear understanding of visual merchandising concepts and standards and how to use them effectively and creatively to drive sales

We'd love to hear from you if...
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends
  • Able to travel 65%+ of the time.
  • Deep understanding of relevant software including: CAD, Excel, and Google Suite.
  • A minimum of 8 years of visual merchandising management experience
