Associate Campus Pastor Jobs

Waters Edge Church is currently seeking candidates for a one-year intensive program, who have serious interest in becoming a future Campus Pastor at Waters Edge Church. At the completion of the one-year program, candidates in good standing, who have met all program requirements, will be promoted to Campus Pastor to launch a Waters Edge Church campus in a new city.

Ideal Candidates:

• Are naturally good communicators, team players, and love people
• Have a clear call to ministry and (if married) a supportive spouse and family who see and understand that call
• Love Jesus, exhibit strong character and integrity, have a mature and vibrant spiritual life, and have a humble and teachable spirit. They are above reproach as is outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
• Are self starters, who are driven, gritty and resilient self-developers
• Must agree theologically, spiritually, and culturally with both Pastor Stu's and WEC's philosophy, style, and expression of ministry

• Relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people
• Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

• Paint a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action
• Adapt approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
• Build strong identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals
• Step up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said

When you apply to be an Associate Campus Pastor at Waters Edge Church you are...

• Sitting under the teaching of our Lead Pastor, actively participating in Sunday services
• Participating in hands-on pastoral experiences including, but not limited to, counseling, personal evangelism, hospital visitation, on-stage communication, team leadership, meeting preparation, staff engagement, and follow-up
• Attending weekly in-person classroom sessions in order to inform and develop biblically sound and ministerially wise decisions over a campus
• Reporting directly to the Yorktown Campus Pastor
• Agreeing to tithe to Waters Edge Church
• Committing to one year of intensive coaching, teaching and direction from a coach, the Lead Pastor and the Executive Director Team
• Committing to faithfully represent Christ and Waters Edge Church with your words and actions
• Actively attending Waters Edge Church Groups
• Willing to relocate, and launch a new WEC campus in a new city.
• Learning to effectively launch, build, and shepherd a campus
