Providence Health Plan is calling an Associate Behavioral Health Network Specialist who will:

  • Be responsible for contract negotiation as a lead or support - as assigned by the manager, contract administration, contracting strategies, contract compliance, contract language and terms, training, communication, and the coordination of network expansions
  • Be responsible for the development and completion of reports - ad hoc or scheduled
  • Be responsible for training and key communication with participating physicians, hospitals, and other medical providers and their office staff
  • Be responsible for identifying issues, resolving disputes, fielding general questions, researching and resolving complex inquiries from the providers
  • Partner with other Reps at varying degrees of involvement to implement and maintain a panel management strategy
  • Be responsible for the recruitment and maintenance of the provider panel in support of Providence Health Plans
  • Be responsiblefor contracts within their defined territory as defined by their manager
  • Be responsible for the analysis of the Health Plans provider network in existing and developing service areas

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live within a commutable distance of our office locations listed below:

  • Oregon: Portland, Bend, Eugene, Salem
  • Washington: Vancouver

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in public speaking and/or group presentation
  • 2 years experience in a behavioral health setting

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Provider relations or contracting experience
  • Behavioral Health, Provider Relations or Contracting Experience
