The Associate Attorney will work closely with our Austin team to support the Firm's clients in a manner that is consistent with our core values and vision. The right candidate will be energetic, and detail-oriented with 4-7 years of family law experience. The position includes significant client contact, and the attorney would be expected to be comfortable managing their own docket. The position provides an opportunity to grow professionally as the Firm grows.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Thoroughly document case progress through defined processes, as well as help develop those processes in response to client needs
- Review pleadings and other legal documents
- Best client services, ensuring clients are up to date on the status of their case and feel informed about their options
- Proactively and efficiently manage cases from beginning to end
- Review, organize, and analyze client documents and document production
- Participate in marketing activities to promote the Firm and professional development
- Act as first point of contact with retained clients
- Sit first chair on family law hearings and trials
- Meet with mentoring attorneys to regularly share information and define strategy
Job Requirements
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, with superior attention to detail
- Solid understanding of the Texas Family Code and the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
- Ability to learn and utilize new software, technology, and techniques as needed to meet the changing demands of the legal marketplace
- Creativity, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent prioritization, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Licensed in Texas; 4-7 years of family law experience
