Your role at Clorox:
This position will lead and direct all financial activities supporting Total Delivered Cost and Innovation for the Cleaning Business Unit. Additionally, the role will support the Cleaning Leadership Team (CLT) in our annual assessment of our business strategies including OGSTM, Value Drivers, and Drill Sites to ensure we meet our Financial Targets. This will include overseeing the development of Functional Admin Targets that will help the business achieve our productivity goals.
In this role, you will:
  • Highlights inconsistencies between current plans and growth aspirations while driving the business choices required to close any gaps.
  • Allocate resources to deliver sound business decisions while coaching, developing, recruiting and retaining a Finance team.
  • Provide Financial leadership to the Cleaning SBU by overseeing all aspects of Total Delivered Cost including Manufacturing Plant Budgets.
  • Drives superior financial results by influencing key operational investment decisions within the business unit.
  • Collaborates with cross functional partners to identify value drill sites that will improve operations and reduce costs.
  • Ensure sound financial controls are in place.
  • Support the Cleaning Leadership Team (CLT) in annual assessment of business strategies including OGSTM, Value Drivers, and Drill Sites to ensure we meet our Financial Targets.
  • Collaborate with VP of Innovation and VP of R&D to ensure sufficient pipeline of Innovation projects to meet Cleaning SBU growth aspirations.
What we look for:
Years and Type of Experience:
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statements
  • At least 10 years in Finance, Accounting, or related Field including Financial Analysis & Control
  • At least 8 years working in Business Units in Consumer Packaged Goods or Manufacturing Industry

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a bias for action
  • Strong planning and organizing skills. Demonstrates a process mindset.
  • Operates effectively and seamlessly with cross-functional partners.

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $138,100 - $277,400
–Zone B: $126,600 - $254,300
–Zone C: $115,100 - $231,200

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
