Assistant VP - National Real Estate Services ($125-150K + bonus)

This firm is a national fully integrated real estate investment firm that specializes in multi-family residential space with over 900 employees nationally. Due to growth, they are looking for an Assistant Vice President who will be managing the real estate tax from the property side, ensuring compliance across the properties from a reporting, accounting and analysis standpoint, and making sure all information is flowing correctly for all the properties.

Assistant VP Responsibilities


  • Assist with managing the annual property budgeting program
  • Manage the overall Real Estate Tax program from due diligence through the sale of real estate.
  • Conduct quarterly meetings with Portfolio Management and Accounting to review quarterly events and ensure accurate accruals and accounting of real estate taxes takes place.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting responsibilities of the NRES team's Financial Analysts and ensure compliance with reporting expectations.
  • Provide oversight of financial analysts and consolidate results into portfolio reporting for Portfolio Management review/presentations.


Assistant VP Qualifications


  • At least seven years experience in financial operations.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Ability to manage and mentor individuals with varied experience, backgrounds, and skills.
  • At least five years' experience in real estate management with a focus in multi-family or hospitality and responsibility for real estate tax management.
