Assistant Underwriter Jobs

Location- Broomfield, CO

work Type- Hybrid on W2

Job Type- Full-time With all benefits

Note-

In office at least 4 days per week during training (typically 2-4 weeks of training); then move to hybrid model 2 days a week in office, remote other 3 days. Possibility to convert fulltime.

• Monitor rush Outlook boxes for urgent requests from underwriting and answer those requests.
• Process computer generated policies and assemble them in accordance with departmental standards to ensure the team remains compliant.
• Enter new business applications, initiate the renewal application processes.
• Provide significant weather events (hurricane, earthquake) support by creating folders and filing claims docs.
• Print and process daily outgoing mail for underwriting and respond to returned mail.
• Complete inspection reviews and make endorsement recommendations.
• Use Office suite applications and proprietary software to complete a variety of tasks working alone and as part of a team.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail on a daily basis.
• Process policy final binds, issuance of claims docs, and loss runs.
• Complete computer modeling of new and renewal business.
• Process cancellation, reinstatement, renewals, and conditional renewals for commercial property insurance policies.
• Process and issue non-premium bearing endorsements for underwriting teams.

MUST HAVE-

• Experience in Processing computer-generated policies and assembling them in accordance with departmental standards to ensure the team remains compliant.
• Experience in Processing incoming and outgoing mail on a daily basis.
• Experience in Processing policy final binds, issuance of claims docs, and loss runs.
