Job Description
Feast & Fettle is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER to support our Newton, MA F&F Fridge location.
What is Feast & Fettle?
Feast & Fettle started as a private chef’s business in 2016, and has since scaled into New England’s leading premium, fully-prepared meal delivery service. In 2023, we expanded our service by opening our first local retail store to make our weekly offerings of prepared meals and grab-and-go items available for walk-in customers. Our next F&F Fridge is coming to Newtonville this fall!
Each day at our East Providence production kitchen, we freshly prepare, cook, and package our menu items, and then hand-deliver these high-quality meals from our weekly menus to our retail locations and our member base across New England.

What will the Assistant Manager at the F&F Fridge do?
As manager-on-duty at our retail store, you’ll have the opportunity to nurture the best-in-class, warm, and kind-hearted customer experience that members expect from the Feast & Fettle brand.
This Work Includes The Responsibility To
  • Hire, train, and develop retail team members
  • Manage all cash and credit/debit transactions, employee cash outs, and bank deposits
  • Develop and manage schedules within labor budget while maximizing productivity
  • Create a welcoming, positive environment for customers and team members
  • Assist customers with strong working knowledge about our story, meals, products, and brand
  • With the Retail Operations Manager, drive Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), such as sales goals, customer retention and satisfaction, and labor margins.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Ensure organization, cleanliness, and high standards of retail store
  • Develop, initiate, and ensure effective standard operating procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to questions and concerns in a timely and effective manner and going above and beyond for our members
What does a strong applicant for this position have?

  • 2+ years of management or shift lead experience in food retail or customer service
  • Available to work weekends
  • Strong communication and people skills

  • Very strong work ethic and enthusiastic attitude
