A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT RESTAURANT SERVER / FOOD RUNNER

As an Assistant Restaurant Server / Food Runner in hospitality, you play an essential role in delivering first-class service to our members. You provide support to other team members and managers with premium guest services as well as assist our service and catering staff as needed. As directed, you help set up and break down our dining area. You also ensure that our equipment is in working order and that linens and other necessary items are clean. In a prompt and efficient manner, you clear and reset all tables as well as monitor our hospitality areas to ensure they are kept clean, safe, and compliant with regulations.

In addition, you report any guest comments or complaints to our management staff as they arise. You attend and participate in all staff meetings and training to show your support for the food service team. Staying informed about the food and beverage industry is a top priority for you, and you make an effort to consistently improve your knowledge in the area. Qualifications For An Assistant Restaurant Server / Food Runner

• Customer service skills
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time as well as lift and move up to 50 pounds

• High school diploma or equivalent

WORK SCHEDULE
