Description
NexCore Group is searching for a candidate to fill the position of Assistant Real Estate Manager. The Assistant Real Estate Manager will assist the Property Manager in the management of medical office real estate properties for clients in such a manner to ensure the properties are maintained to meet quality standards while controlling operating experiences. The ideal candidate will maintain tenant satisfaction and promote excellent tenant relations.

Key Responsibilities*
- Promote and foster positive relationships with tenants and owners
- Provide full administrative support, including phone support, typing reports, filing, and distribution of correspondence
- Process maintenance staff hours, tenant bill back invoices through accounting, expense reports, monthly meter readings of properties, and check requests for review and approval
- Reviews tenant delinquencies and contacts tenants regarding delinquencies
- Assist in administration activities including tenant contacts and insurance information and generate corresponding reports
- Prepare and coordinate bid proposals, service contracts and approved invoices. Assist in bidding process and support property manager to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Schedule and coordinate meetings/special events as requested
- Track and file vendor contracts and insurance certificates; maintain follow-up system for expirations and monitor and maintain the property maintenance work order system
- Code invoices according to budget for property manager’s approval and ensure prompt and accurate completion of vendor contracts in contract administration software
- Maintain lease, contract, and operational files within the property management office
- Partnering with property manager to resolve tenant problems and communicate action plan for resolution, building relationships that create tenant satisfaction specific to the property and to ensure tenants comply and fully understand building operating policies
- Assists in handling any emergency that may arise with building, property, tenants, or ownership
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education:
- High school diploma required
Work Experience:
- 1+ years of health care real estate experience preferred
- 3+ years of administrative work required
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Adobe Acrobat)
- Proficiency with operating business office equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Multi-tasking abilities
