Assistant Project Manager - Urgent Hiring


A pioneer and one of the top companies in the construction industry located in Morristown, NJ is currently looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team. You will be a key participant in managing the information flow between the owner, the general contractor, and other project stakeholders and assist with the design and the approvals process. Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities


  • Processing of payment requests and change orders
  • Communicates with super/ runs meetings etc
  • Tracks and validates approvals of Hard Copy documentation from project stakeholders
  • Reviews the final soft copies of documentation, reviewing completion and adherence to A / E comments
  • Ensures that all appropriate documents are posted to the project database and provides assistance to the vendor as needed
  • Project design
  • Provides regular RFI and Submittal status updates to project stakeholders
  • Maintains project RFI and Submittal registry and tracks each through to closure


Assistant Project Manager Qualifications


  • Site and Utility work for public or private construction projects in NJ is required
  • Experienced in working with multiple leads across various disciplines to solve problems and improve processes
  • 1-5+ years of construction management experience preferred and recent college grads encouraged to apply also with internships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Effective organizational and communication skills
