Nature of Work : Support and assist the project manager in assuring timely project completion. Duties may include developing schedules, budgets, progress reviews, billings, bids, change orders, submittal lists and reports. Interface with subcontractors, owners, vendors and company personnel to coordinate efficient completion of a project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop operations and maintenance manuals, as required.
  • Coordinate and communicate with owners, vendors, crews, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers to facilitate timely project completion.
  • As required, conduct workplace inspections assessing quantity and specification/quality, labor tracking, percent completion by subcontractors, and safety compliance.
  • Create project management documentation that may include schedules, material purchases, cost management, progress charts, etc.
  • Ensure accurate updating and completion of all required project reports.
  • Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Assist with the evaluation and purchase of major equipment and subcontractors.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience.
Experience:Two to five years or more of related work experience required.
Scope: Responsible for own work only; exercises some control over expenses and generation of revenues with oversight; will make budgetary recommendations.
Guidelines: Works according to guidelines; any changes must be authorized by superior; may make some guideline suggestions.
Physical Demands: Physical demands for this position are heavy. Physical exertion such as long periods of standing; lifting of heavy items (50-75 pounds), walking over rough, uneven or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, climbing or similar activities. The work may require specific but common physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.
Work Environment: Standard project site environment that may include machinery, parts and chemicals. May require protective gear.
