AECOM
is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to be based in San Diego, CA.

The responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager include:

  • Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.
  • Manages one or more moderately complex project, involving a combination of the following:
  • Clients with a regional geographic footprint; OR,
  • Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
  • Projects involving multiple services provided by regional IE offices; OR,
  • Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.

Reporting and Analytical Responsibilities:

  • Under direct or general supervision, may complete scientific assignments of limited complexity.
  • Performs analytics leveraging interdisciplinary techniques to extract knowledge or insights from data in various forms, either structured or unstructured
  • Utilizing digital engineering deliverables such as drawings, models and GIS apps as well as Digital Solutions used for collection, analysis and simulation.
  • Engage within data analysis fields such as statistics, data mining, and predictive analytics.
  • May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned scientific personnel.
  • Supports various disciplines and projects across all areas of Engineering.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to pass client background screening to include LiveScan.
  • Bachelors degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Document Control
  • Software skills to include MS Office, Sharepoint, Archibus

Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $80,756.40-$89,077.87.
