Assistant Operations Manager - Toledo

Your responsibilities
Directs and coordinates operations in one or more areas of the plant. Ensures that objectives are achieved consistent with customer and quality requirements. Reports to the Plant Manager. Delegates authority to key supervisors. Shift: 5:00PM - 3:30AM

•  Ensures Preventative Maintenance program is robust and adhered to.
•  Manages company resources thoughtfully.
•  Complies with all Company policies, and laws.
•  Supports work to attain operational efficiency goals.
•  Hire, train, motivate, and discipline warehouse employees if requested or as required.
•  Monitors people and training to ensure process compliance, throughput, and accuracy.
•  Supports work to attain quality objectives.
•  Manages and oversees the reporting of all necessary data to ensure that day-to-day activities are repeatable and in line with safety, quality, and operational objectives.
•  Support and/or lead continuous improvement projects to support tkSCS with an ongoing focus on lean principles, efficiency improvements, and cost reductions.
•  Communicates well with customers and employees.
•  Work with the Plant Manager to establish goals, develop KPIs, and direct operational output.
•  Maintains good housekeeping in all operational areas.

Your profile
Qualifications:

•  Attitude and aptitude for teamwork
•  3-5 years’ experience in automotive production
•  5 plus experience in a Supervisory or Management position
•  Education BS Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
•  Strong Project Management Skills
•  3-5 years’ experience in Continuous Improvement including Six Sigma certification
•  Proven experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
