Ultimate Staffing is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager for a well-established trailer leasing company in the Columbus, Ohio area!
Candidates MUST have a Bachelor's Degree OR equal/similar experience and be open to relocation for promotions.
Job Title: Assistant Operations Manager
Job Status: Direct Hire, Permanent
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Comp: $40,000 - $42,000 (negotiable) (approx: $20-21/hr)
Job Overview:
- Assign repair work to vendors and mechanics.
- Verify customer insurance coverage.
- Serve customers when they need truck trailers, helping to determine their equipment needs, and explaining all the trailer-rental options.
- Inspect trailers using a hand-held device which includes checking for damage or equipment problems inside and underneath the trailer.
- Manage customer accounts including assisting with credit and collections.
- Use technology to perform inventories, manage equipment, and other operational tasks.
As an Assistant Operations Manager, you'll need good technology skills and enjoy interacting with lots of different personalities. Our Operations Assistants have a strong work ethic and like new challenges. It's also important for you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will receive extensive training in all aspects of the business followed by ongoing safety training and certifications. Since we prefer to promote from within, you'll also receive mentoring to prepare you to promote to the next level. Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of related experience.
