Job Opening - Assistant Online Editor

The Assistant Online Editor position is hybrid, requiring the candidate to be local in order to travel to the office as needed. This position will prepare projects for online color correction and create deliverables for long and short format broadcast programs and broadband content.

DUTIES

• General Avid, media, and post-production troubleshooting
• Document daily work completed
• Understanding Red Arrow’s post-production workflow and preparing projects for online editing
• Formatting hard drives, consolidating media, and creating Avid projects
• Perform other post-production duties as directed by supervisors
• Performs job according to client requests and technical specifications
• Building correctly formatted show credits from list provided by the producer
• Conform audio from DAW and tech check programs with producers and/or editors
• Must be able to professionally communicate in an effective, efficient, and timely manner via email, phone calls, and texts
• May be asked to be responsible for video color correction including shot-to-shot and scene-to-scene color matching
• Creating and versioning masters in digital formats

COMPETENCIES and EXPERIENCE

• Proficient with Avid Symphony and Media Composer
• Experience with hardware or software based video scopes
• Proficient with Adobe After Effects
• Minimum 2 years Online Experience
• Proficient Adobe Photoshop experience
