Elements Massage® is looking for an Assistant Manager to oversee sales and operations for a Massage Therapy wellness studio.

  • Familiarity with modern office tools and systems; scheduling and payments are all processed with easy‐to‐learn computer programs.
  • The right candidate must like talking, but more important, love listening to all new clients, established clients, and prospective clients.
  • Ability to follow our proven sales process to sell the monthly Elements Wellness Program and build customer loyalty.
  • Customer Service in a spa‐like or similar environment is preferred; catering experiences that distinguish their value with attention, hospitality, and execution.
  • The right candidate can turn every incident of client criticism to a story of great customer service. Qualifications
  • Prior retail sales experience preferred; selling memberships or services in‐person to potential clients.
  • Driven to create the best work environment for the employees and the best experiences for the client.


Job Expectations


The Assistant Manager position plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of the studio.


The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the oversight of the daily administrative operations of the WMA’s and the front desk. In this position you will strive to meet established personal and studio sales goals and objectives in the areas of member growth and ensure a flawless experience for any client who enters the studio. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for training, coaching and mentoring the WMA’s to ensure our high level of standards are met.


  • Checks/audits for appointment notes, schedule optimization, and that all enhancements and fees are added correctly on appointments/profiles notes/accounts.
  • Meets weekly with the owner and/or manager(s).
  • Follows the Elements Service Path and ensures that WMA’s are as well.
  • Checks/audits the Enhancement logs for accuracy.
  • Leads by example and following all studio policies along with being honest and sincere.
  • Takes inventory of supplies needed and orders as necessary.
  • Interviews and completes the training process of new and existing WMA’s.
  • Checks/audits the Wellness Program logs and forms to ensure that the sale was processed correctly.
  • Creates a WMA schedule that is fair and meets the studio's staffing needs at least 30 days in advance.
  • Practices exceptional customer service, focus on membership sales, and client retention.
  • Works closely with the owner and the manager towards goals and improvements.
  • Contacts suspended members and informs them of their accounts becoming active.
  • Provides insurance documents for clients.
  • Contacts failed auto pay clients and collects payment; Processes suspension and cancellations.
  • Open and close studio along with performing WMA duties
  • Host monthly/quarterly WMA meetings.


Understanding that this is a manager/sales position, there will be time that you are unable to work in the capacity as a WMA. With that said there should be hours carved out of your schedule for admin work and should not be more than 8 hours a week. It is expected that you do work as a WMA for a minimum of 25-30 hours a week.
