Assistant Maintenance Supervisor Jobs

We are looking for a capable Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Ashton Brook apartment community.

Responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds and perform the duties of the MS in his/her absence.

• Demonstrated ability or experience in the maintenance field desirable.
• Able to work overtime and emergency call in.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Repair and maintain simple electrical circuits, switches, outlets and lighting fixtures.
• Cleaning and housekeeping of common areas and vacant units.
• Service, maintain and trouble shoot HVAC systems.
• Repair and maintain building exteriors and roofs.
• Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
• Must maintain universal EPA designation/certification.
• Maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping and parking lots including snow removal.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.
• Install and repair carpeting and tile.
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
• Repair, install and maintain basic plumbing fixtures such as water heaters, lavatories, toilets, dishwashers.
• Perform emergency repairs.
• Create and sustain a positive work environment at the community and accomplish the objectives of the Corporate Performance Management program.
• Repair and painting of vacant units.
