Job Description

Do you like working with kids from Kindergarten to High School in teaching Math and Reading?The world’s largest supplemental education company is seeking multiple energetic Instructor Assistants who have Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at Kumon Math and Reading Center of Serramonte.


Responsibilities

  • Grading Math and Reading worksheets.
  • Assisting elementary, middle, and high school students with their Math and Reading.
  • Distributing homework assignments.
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks.


Qualifications

  • Experience in a paid or non-paid job working with kids, teacher assistant, and/or former Kumon Math/Reading student experience is a plus.
  • High school to college students are preferred.
  • Solid understanding of English Grammar, from elementary to G10 or G12 or College levels.
  • Thorough knowledge of math concepts, from basic arithmetic to Algebra I or Pre-Calculus or Calculus.
  • Commitment to making a difference in the community and belief in the importance of education.
  • Detail Oriented and outgoing personality is a must.

Pay: $16.07 - $20.00 /per hour.Starting pay will be dependent on experience and proficiency in math and/or reading.

Approximately 6 - 15 hours per week on

Monday- (3:30 PM - 7:00 PM)

Tuesday- (3:30 PM - 7:00 PM)

Wednesday - (3:30 PM - 7:00 PM)

Thursday- (3:30 PM - 7:00 PM)

Friday - (3:30 PM - 7:00 PM)
