Department/Organization: 600121 - Athletics Marketing

Job Summary: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Public Relations, Sports Management, Graphic Design, or Communications and one (1) year of experience within intercollegiate athletics, professional sports organization and/or other marketing field; OR Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Public Relations, Sports Management, Graphic Design, or Communications.

Additional Department Summary: The responsibilities include: generation of revenue through the creation and administration of marketing, promotional and digital media plans to sell tickets for football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, and gymnastics; increasing brand, event, and awareness of pertinent athletics information through marketing related channels. This position also develops and implements activities related to advertising and coordination of all events associated with the department.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Public Relations, Sports Management, Graphic Design, or Communications and one (1) year of experience within intercollegiate athletics, professional sports organization and/or other marketing field; OR Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Public Relations, Sports Management, Graphic Design, or Communications.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within an intercollegiate athletics department and/or professional sports organization in a marketing, tickets sales, development, public relations and/or communications role. Working knowledge and experience with marketing efforts within social media and email outlets.
