See Yourself as a Assistant Corporate Tax Accountant

Assistant corporate tax accountant is responsible for assisting the corporate tax team with compliance tasks as needed.

See Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist tax department with tasks and projects as needed.
• Assist with sales and use tax filings as needed.
• Prepare quarterly municipal premium tax filings and maintain municipal tax rates in IT system.
• Assist tax department with preparation and review of insurance premium tax estimates and returns.
• Assist tax department with responding to notices that come through the weekly tax mail. This involves writing letters to taxing authorities and clearing amounts due on account.
• State and local tax research as needed.

Your Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience:

• Work Experience: 2 or more years of prior work-related experience
• Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

Additional Qualifications:

• Basic insurance tax return experience
• Strong computer skills including familiarity with Premium Pro software and One Source tax software
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Basic tax accounting experience
• Basic corporate tax experience

Your Education and Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Years of Prior Work-Related Experience: 2 Years

• Competitive Compensation: anticipated hourly rate from $32.52 to $38.00 based on skills and experience. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.

In addition, based on your hire date, you will be eligible for 9 paid holidays + 2 floating holiday in support of our DEI culture.
