Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Controller who can help streamline revenue, billing, and analysis.


  • Prepares various tax reporting requirements; form 1099’s, unsecured business property statements, and other corporate filings.
  • Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Partner with FP&A to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data supporting key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets.
  • Lead monthly closing activities including but not limited to review or preparing general journal entries and monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures.
  • Work closely with leadership to manage the month and year end financial statement close process.
  • Assist with annual financial and insurance audits.
  • Prepares and analyzes banking transactions; reconciles bank, credit card and loan accounts.


Requirements


  • Knowledge of and ability to apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting desired
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel), knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (D365) a plus.
  • 5 years of accounting experience required; 2+ years of public accounting a plus; CPA preferred.
