Assistant Controller Jobs

Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting/Controller, you will perform a variety of key general accounting functions while also leading our payroll processing, revenue cycle reporting, and financial statement preparation. You will be responsible for applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, reviewing and analyzing financial information, and preparing financial reports. This important role requires an in-depth understanding of the big picture or full-cycle accounting and how the various aspects of the company fit together from a financial perspective. Salary Range: $92,800 - $183,600 Annually

We’re seeking a flexible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, results-driven individual with: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field • 5-7 years of payroll and financial analysis experience • CPA/MBA and Big 4 accounting experience preferred • Extensive healthcare experience is highly desirable • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office • Experience managing the implementation and maintenance of payroll and general ledger systems • Ability to analyze processes/practices and recommend improvements • Knowledge in programming complex queries with query database/reporting tools • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Strong time management, prioritizing, and organizational abilities • Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop professional personnel UCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and hundreds of primary care practices, specialty practices, urgent care centers, and other ancillary locations throughout metro Los Angeles as well as the David Geffen School of Medicine.
