Job Description

The Albert C. Wiltshire Employment Center recruits qualified candidates for positions within the Brooklyn Navy Yard, a 300-acre industrial park housing over 400+ businesses within the manufacturing, food, media, technology, and creative fields

A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based roof desk building company is seeking an Assistant Carpenter.

New York's premiere roof deck builders is looking for an Assistant Carpenter to help with daily operations from construction to installation. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of finish carpentry experience in exterior. In addition, must have OSHA SST cert, driver's license, and the ability to work closely with other tradespeople on projects. Will hire quickly!!!

Responsibilities

  • Transport the team, supplies and tools to project sites
  • Effectively communicate with team members to avoid any mistakes
  • Assist with the build and installation of roof terraces, decks, and gardens

Requirements

  • Exterior experience a huge plus
  • OSHA SST Certification
  • Driver's License
  • 2 years of finish carpentry experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour
