Responsibilities
What you will do:
~ 50% of time dedicated to retail merchandising:
  • Communication of retail merchandising plans for multiple co-ops and client groups (serving 1,000 outlets)
  • Collaborate with integrated/cross functional agency teams on development of annual merchandising plan
  • Work with vendors to develop merchandising materials and gain necessary approvals, coordinate logistics
  • Manage strategic planning and execution of client’s retail merchandising plan
  • Field calls/emails to troubleshoot retail questions and issues
~ 50% of time dedicated to support local client(s) as part of the account team:
  • Work with media team and external client partners to develop strategies, tactical plans and guide the execution of added value opportunities/activations
  • Administrative duties and additional support as assigned
  • Responsible for the development of weekly communications, marketing and merchandising plans for assigned markets based on real-time business performance
  • Minimal travel may be required
  • As guided by the VP/Brand Leader, will contribute to fostering client relationships and help facilitate brand initiatives through new ideas and innovative solutions that enhance the client’s business, client partnership or general agency work
  • Manage client’s digital mobile app promotion planning, execution and performance tracking
  • Help guide internal creative projects from ideation and brief to completion – managing timing, budget and necessary approvals.
Qualifications
What you need to succeed:
  • Insatiable drive, appetite to learn, incredible organizational skills, high level of accountability and ability to multi-task
  • Functions well in team environment
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office (notably PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications (or related field desired)
  • Articulate writer, speaker and communicator
  • Relevant industry and advertising experience is optimal
