Basic Purpose Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Asset Manager is responsible for leading a structured process of accounting for all Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) assets including reconciling the master asset list to the inventory management system by conducting regular inventory analysis using physical and electronic means. The Asset Manager will also manage surplus equipment as well as organize and manage offsite storage. Typical Functions Responsibilities and essential functions will include (but not be limited to) the following:


  • Responsible for daily asset management operations.
  • Experience and skills related to asset management is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform moderately demanding physical tasks.
  • Organization and inventory processing skills.
  • Ability to provide the vision, work ethic and procedures to expand support capabilities, and to develop support practices that work for everyone.   • Responsible and or assist with the recycle program.
  • Assist with building maintenance and support as requested.
  • Document inventory controls and processes for audit purposes, including an annual review of the controls/processes.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Occasional travel to remote office locations within the state of Oklahoma requires Oklahoma Driver License.
  • Knowledge of the State of Oklahoma’s PeopleSoft financial system is preferred.
  • Reconciles master asset list to inventory management system.
  • Cross-train in various Finance functions.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts in all locations where AOC assets are housed.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Managing receiving and disposition of surplus equipment. Identify alternate uses for equipment, if feasible.
  • Required to perform pre-travel safety checklist on state owned vehicles before driving to remote office locations.
