Job Description

RETS Associates on behalf of our client, an Owner and Operator of real estate, is seeking an Asset Management Analyst in Los Angeles, CA. The analyst is responsible for financial modeling and analysis and will work closely with the Asset Manager in overseeing leasing, property management and capital projects. The position reports directly to the Director of Asset Management and will oversee one or more analysts. The West region includes a mix of office, retail, industrial and multifamily properties, ranging from core to value-add assets.


Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from top academic institution

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience preferably from one of the top capital markets brokerage firms or other institutional real estate organizations

• Superior analytical and critical thinking skills (both quantitative and qualitative).

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, creation of templates) and Argus Enterprise. Experience with real estate accounting systems required, experience with Yardi a plus
