Endeavor Agency (www.endeavorCRE.com) is a commercial real estate talent agency providing high touch recruitment services throughout California and major western US cities. Endeavor has engaged with a privately held, growing real estate development and investment company seeking for an Asset Management Analyst to join the Newport Beach team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Director of Asset Management in maximizing the profitability for the company and formulating business strategies and plans for their functional area. The Asset Management Analyst will assist in developing and implementing asset management strategies, reviewing budgets and financial analysis, negotiating contracts, preparing reports, and performing due diligence and underwriting of potential acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial analysis, including ROI, IRR, and discounted cash flow modeling
- Assist in the due diligence and underwriting of potential acquisitions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the portfolio
- Assist the Director of Asset Management in developing and implementing asset management strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Adhere to and assure compliance with company policies and procedures and all applicable rules and regulations
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts, including leases, licenses, and third-party management agreements
- Review and approve budgets, including projected and building capital plans
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis
- At least 2-3 years of experience in asset management or a related field
- Working knowledge of Yardi and excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or real estate
- Must be able to speak and write English fluently and understandably
